August 23, 2009 As I listen to the health care "debate" I find myself drawn to the conclusion that socialism (a word that I do not use lightly) is alive and flourishing in this country, and…. it is supported by the main stream media types. It is a shocking realization to comprehend that there are American newspapers and news outlets that want this country to become, support, and practice socialism. It is hard to accept, but the facts speak volumes, and for themselves. MSNBC is perhaps the leader of the pack with CBS and ABC in a dead heat for second. The newspapers are also in favor of a socialistic society. The slant and bias these news organizations convey is not only sickening, but dangerous. This is a great country, we do great things, but we are the exception to the way of the world. History has proven that the way of the human civilization is tyrants and dictators, torture and slavery. This country was created differently, founded upon individual responsibility and limited government. The first amendment gives the press certain rights, and responsibilities, concerning the people and limitation of government. Rights and responsibilities that they are willing to throw out the window and into the sewer of socialism and oppressiveness. It makes no difference the flavor of the politician, Republican or Democrat, only that the agenda be supported: An agenda that only government can take care of you, that government knows what is best for you. Yet it is a policy sure to fail. Why? Americans are spoiled rotten kids, they like their way of life. They like their toys. They like their freedom. However, they face a dilemma, something many have never confronted before, their freedom is being taken away and it scares them. They find themselves caught up in events larger than themselves, and they don't know how to get out of it. If they stay quiet their very way of life will be destroyed. If they speak up they find themselves being dragged through the press mud by a socialist main stream media. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. It is fight or flight time for them. A fight they must win in order to survive, to keep their way of life. It is a common misconception to think that the odds are in favor of the socialist and against the people. After all they control the news outlets, the money, and the politicians. But they find themselves in a bind. Their message, their means of control, seems to no longer be working. Why? The terms racist and fear monger have always worked in the past, what changed? What change is called "alternative media", Fox News and talk radio. The internet has also played a huge role in this new "revolution". Thus it is to be written in our future history that the socialist main stream media will find itself on the trash heap of dictators and tyrants. As long as the main stream media supports the socialist agenda they will lose, and when they awaken from their drunken progressive stupor it will be too late. They will have destroyed themselves, and their reputations all because they believe that America evil and must be destroyed and recreated in a different image. The American people are waking up, and soon a leader, like a Phoenix, a strong confident leader, will emerge from the ashes to reclaim America from the socialist and "progressives". This leader will hold the socialist media accountable for their actions, and their words. Words which the American people will be the final judge of. The people will destroy these news outlets, not with guns or bombs, but with the one weapon that controls all economies, the dollar. Sponsorship and advertising will dry up, newspapers will rot on the streets, websites will sit idol, no one will read them. Farfetched? I don't think so, for the data proves that the downfall has already begun. |
